Outside the Villas at Avalon Reef Isla Mujeres

Location: Isla Mujeres is located six miles NE of Cancun, Mexico. The villas and hotel are located on a private islet connected by a bridge at the northeast part of the main island. A total of 40 villas are part of the 140-unit Avalon Reef Isla Mujeres 5-star luxury hotel that was completed in spring of 2002.

Amenities: fresh water swimming pool, North Beach Terrace restaurant & beach bar, Kelly's Bar & Grill (buffet restaurant), Porterhouse Grill (steakhouse), Castaway Nightclub featuring live entertainment, on-site rental of dive & snorkel equipment, spa & fitness center, and "Wild Things", an interactive kids program that includes walking tours of the islet, information on the flora & fauna of the region, Spanish language & Mayan history classes, as well as fun and games such as relay races & pinata making.

Services offered: Room service, laundry, babysitting, medical care, airport & boat transfers, car rental, currency exchange, and multi-lingual staff. A schedule of daily events & activities is delivered to guests' rooms each morning and can include beach volleyball, water aerobics, stretching exercises, Spanish lessons, and dance lessons. Private off-site excursions, including catamaran cruises, shopping tours, nightclub tours, expeditions to nearby islands are also available.
